Music as the core frequency of a given message.

At ever step of this existence there is some kind of frequency, determined by oscillations, up and downs, ying and yangs, happiness and hardship. It seems to be the ultimate task of the homo sapiens to find perfection, even though humans fail perpetually, the path that leads to it bestows purpose.

So here is my list of my favourite songs up until now. Bare in mind that the fact that a song does not appear in the following list does not mean that I don't like song as the ones that made it to the list, but rather they are not as revolutionary of its time as I perceive the ones in the list.

10· Batman: Dark Knight rises main theme (By Hans Zimmer productions)

If you think that this is repetitive and monotonous I think you miss the point of why this song was created in the first place. The story of this heroe is gruesome, going through all the tragedy of his parents being killed for a few bucks and jewlery, left by his girlfriend for the major, and basically obstinate in capturing criminals. It is a song of falling plenty of times, before rising. I think mister Zimmer hit on spot using such a title.

09· Beethoven second movement, moonlight sonata.

Do I need to mention why?
The tempo is playing around, ups and downs, the pianist hesitates to play that key in a sign of sadness. It is more than a musical poem to the moon, it is a tribute to sadness and inexplicably. It is so desperate to express, yet with simple notes it denotes compassion not draught pain.

08· 送り人、思い出

I think that there is so much to feel in this song, as if there is too much gratefulness to express with words or even gestures. A lonely cello that is stroke with passion in the hills of a forgotten town in Japan, the leftover of a wanted life, and what a life.

07· Wild Arms, intro song

This song has almost every element required for an epic adventure. It reminds me of just how motivated one must be to keep on. The western spagetti feel with the japanese colage style allows this song to stand out of the rest.

06· Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen)

Another colage of genres and pieces of tempo, ethnical instruments and melodies, into one masterpiece that could only come from the eccentric mind of Freddie Mercury. It is clear and unafraid to express a huge depression, out spouts a crust of laments and terrible dilemmas, a tragedy made melody, with whirling themes and profound transitions. Allow anyone to attempt to compose a colage song with multiple genres and themes in succession and is the formula for failure. Bekon and hire Freddie Mercury for such task and you would have created one of the best songs in the history of music.
